The Treehouse story may have started in 2019, but the history of our humble home goes back to 1978 when my grandparents retired to northern Wisconsin. They researched where exactly they wanted to live in the middle of nowhere, began house shopping and stumbled upon a a quaint home with a visually unappealing exterior. Featuring an amazing lake view and the peace and quiet of the northern forest, grandma and grandpa fell in love and moved right in. It was here, in the late 70’s that our story truly started and continued until 2018 when we were faced with an emotional crisis. My grandparents were gone, dad was fighting cancer and the house was facing an uncertain future.
